About Me
Hi, I’m Lena — a painter based in Vancouver, Canada, creating joyful, light-filled still lives and landscapes inspired by travel, connection, and everyday beauty. Born and raised in Hong Kong, I’ve always been drawn to the colours and textures of tropical life—lush foliage, bright florals, and long, leisurely meals shared around the table.
My work is rooted in memory and feeling. I love capturing moments that feel familiar and meaningful: a vase of flowers catching morning light, a half-sliced citrus on a crowded table, or the rhythm of lively conversation. I work with expressive marks, a tonal palette of pastels, and playful compositions to evoke a sense of warmth and wonder.
When I’m not painting, I’m likely dreaming of my next trip while drinking copious amounts of tea.
Thank you for stopping by — I hope my work brings a bit of brightness to your day!
